how can you say that you know me?
i can stare in your face,
into your rich brown eyes
and LIE
blatantly, boldly
you only believe what you hear;
you only believe
what you THINK is the truth
and you say
you KNOW me?
i've touched your tanned skin
intentions wildly passionate
reached deep into your soul . . .
and taken your virginity
away . . .
don't ever look at me with contempt
this is your own doing
you LET me in
let me do,
let me be. .
never say,
i don't know who you are
YOU KNOW . . .
you just misunderstood . . .
